Delete your Ekimeet account
You can delete your account, and everything tied to it, at any time. It happens at once and can't be undone.
How to delete it
- Open the Ekimeet app, or sign in at ekimeet.com.
- Go to Me → Your data.
- Choose Delete my account and confirm.
If you signed in more than 10 minutes ago, we first ask you to confirm it's you, with a passkey or a code we email you. On the same page you can download all your data first.

Write to us from the address you sign in with and ask us to delete your account. We may first ask you to confirm the address is yours, then delete it and tell you when it's done.

What is deleted at once
Your card, photos and files, sign-in methods and sessions, the events you joined, your answers to suggestions, your matches and connections, your chats and messages, posts and notes, the data used to suggest people, and everything else tied to your account.
What is kept, and for how long
- Reports and moderation records, without your identity.
- A message named in an open report, until the night after the report is handled.
- The audit log's record of what happened on the account (such as its deletion), linked only to an anonymous id, never to your name or email.
- Encrypted backups made before you deleted it, until they are replaced: the last is gone within 12 months.
